Raining on Jemez Bluffs (Plein Air)

I painted this on the first day of the Plein Air Painters of New Mexico Spring Paint Out and Show.  It was a cold rainy end of April day up in the Jemez Mountains along the Jemez River.  I was intrigued by the colorful rocks and the green trees in the foreground and the mist up higher at the top.
