Colors and use of Analogous Palette

I wanted to talk a little bit about my color palette.  I use a limited palette of primarily these colors below.  I mix the colors I use from this list.  My greens are usually mixed from the Ultramarine Blue and the Cadmium Yellow.

I sometimes use an analogous palette for a painting.  If I am using an analogous palette for a painting, all the colors will be mixed from just typically 3 colors that I select for the painting.   These typically would include Alizaran Crimson, Ultramarine Blue, and Cadmium Yellow.  I could substitute a different color if needed depending on the warmth or coolness I desire, but would only include those 3 colors.   For example my darkest dark would be Alizaran Crimson mixed with Ultramarine Blue.   From the 3 colors I would mix them to make an extended analogous palette of 5 base colors.  I would then use these colors to mix various gray's for my painting.   I have experimented with using an analogous palette and I do like the color harmony that can be produced in the painting when using those limited colors.   The above painting was painted with an analogous palette using my described colors.
